On my way to fashion & style blogging I grew up in the part of North West London, now known as Queens Park village. An addictive eye to how things look led me to my first pair of tomato red Kickers, a boom box and a stash of recycled TDK cassette tapes. Let's just say, as a teen in London, I became expert at splicing pirate radio shows recordings. I listened to Ska and bleached my jeans. Then I spent many happy hours working with some of the coolest musicians from London, the USA and beyond. When my roving eye took fashion seriously I became one half of a teeny but uber cool bag & t-shirt label Sexie Booda. I'm still looking around but now I blog about the things I see here on Style Canteen.
